Im not a high level artist just yet, but im tryig to get there. Im currently working on creating whole new comic for animation and comic books, hopefully i can send it in to Marvel or DC.
Here are some picture i drew of batman, i was wondering what you thought? This was a while ago, im working on a spiderman one right now that ill post when i finish.

Hey man! I like your stuff. Batman is one of my characters and I applaud you for doing a Spider-man sketch, his webs can be a pain! From your Batman drawing I can see that you take care in choosing a lightsource and shading accordingly! Most artists don't get that basic concept for a very long time. Kudos on that. The figure's face is also very dynamic and emotive. Other great qualities.
Some stuff that I see that you can work on improving are general anatomy and improving your darks vs. your lights. Don't be afraid to delve deep into blacks and let lights be light. This contrast will give you a general 3d look to your drawings. Anatomy is always a hard one as well. There are several books that show humans from the skeleton out. Both Kubert brothers worked on anatomy books for medicine before starting in comics. Other than that, keep drawing! You've got a good eye! |
