Last night Mike Turner died at age 37 from cancer that he had been battling since 2000. He never let it get to him always looked at the bright side and most importantly never gave up.
It is indeed a sad day for comic lovers,artists,his family/friends, and the art community it self.
Why is it always the great ones that leave us so soon. :crying: |

its eternal until the government decides to burn all book and such like in Brave New World or something.
But anyways, he was a really good. He drew really pretty girls...but they were all the same! LOL. |

From what I have read about Turner, he was a great guy who did everything he could to please his fans. He was a great artist, and he will surely be missed.
I don't know if it makes sense, but cancer does give you a positive attitude. It definitely makes you see the world differently.

| I think the reference to burning books was "Farenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. It has been so long since I read Brave New World, I can't recall if it has book burnings in it. :-) |

| I just read the book though, and I beleive they had gotten rid of all the books in Brave new world. The world ruler had a secret stash of books, such as the bible, but no one else was allowed to have such things--and no one really wanted them either |
