| I used to go to the meeting in the Mesa store but I was the only one who showed up so I stoped going. Now if people actually go to the meetings in Mesa's store I'll go back becuase they are fun and I like to help out other artists. I am however going to the "12 Hour Make Your Own Comic Book" event which should be really cool and challenging. |

I would go every Monday, but I have class monday nights. As soon as school gets out I was wanting to start going back to the meetings.
We should try and get more people to come somehow.

Yea I'll be down their this monday and I'll bring my works to show everyone. I'd like to show em my latest works but I'll have to wait till the comic is on the shelves or I gets in trouble :(
Also there better be some people their this time or Im gunna go HULK and not the happy go lucky green guy Im mean the big bad Red MACHINE!!! lol jk jk |

We have a few members that show up regularly now. It was hard maintaining members since we had one lady there who kinda drove everyone off. But shes gone now and we are even starting a consignment thing where we will display your artwork in our store for a month or so and sell it for you for a small percent.
Your only task is to blow it up and frame it--unless its a canvas or a sculpture |

| Thats pretty cool but I dont think I could sell my inked pages since I didnt create the pencils but I'm working on the first cover of my own comic that I could sell. Either way I'll be down their this monday to check it out. I think I was the only one that showed up for like 3 weeks straight and gave up lol. But if their are regulars then I'll be happy to become another regular :D |

You know, on May 10th there is going to be a 12-hour comic creating event at the Paradise Valley location. Teams will create a 4-8 page comic in 12 hours, on site. It has to be original, but I don't think that will be a huge problem.
Three winners will have their comics printed and put on sale at Atomic Comics!
And the Grand Prize Winner's work will be submitted to Marvel Comics for editorial review! How cool is that!?
When: Thursday May 10th from 10:00am-10:00pm
Where: Atomic Paradise Valley

-$30.00 entry fee per team
There will also be activities going on like an after party!

Yea I got the flyer and want to go but I have no way to get their. My trucks tags are due at the end of this month and since I moved from KS the truck has to be inspected and I'll have to fix my windshiled,and sidemirror since the day I moved down here my turck got vandalized.
Also I'd be a one man team and when I sit down to make a page I generally take 10 hours to pencil out one, so that it looks crisp and clean. Im planing on redrawing the same 4 pages over and over till I can get it to 3 hours a page to get the 4 pages done in time.
But the real problem is getting to the place since I wont have my truck and I dont think the busses will get me all the way their since I live on dobson and main.
Now if their were say a carpool then that would be cool since I have the 4 pages scripted all ready, and the prelem thumbnails done. |

| Im hopeing I can stop by the shop today to pick up Hulk#3 but that depends on getting paid today for my inks on a indy comic. Sucks when your waiting for mail lol. If the check come in I'll ask and see if anyone has asked about a carpool. |
