So... Who here is excited about the new Spider-Man movie? I am going to see it opening showing at midnight. The thing that really upsets me, however, is that in recent previews they began showing Venom in the movie! Sure, everyone knew that the "black suit" was in the movie, but only the true fans knew what that REALLY meant! A couple of my friends and I were sort of proud to know that Venom was going to be in the movie, without the "moviegoers" knowing it. But now that the secret's out, some fans don't get that "I-know-something-you-don't-know" feeling anymore!
Oh well, it still should be a great movie nonetheless! |

| I saw it and am gonna see it again tonight but I am seeing it again mostly to hang with friends. It was not as cool as I hoped. I was disappointed. I did not know that one of the properties of sand was that it could fly. |

I know I'm going to be in the minority on this, but... I absolutely loved this movie. It had a couple of minor flaws, but nothing that really took away from my enjoyment of the film. This comes from the guy who loved the previous two Spidey movies, as well as Superman Returns, Daredevil and even The Punisher, so take my opinion however you want. The amount of horrible crap they put Peter through in this movie... the way they just poured it on, it reminded me of some of the best Spider-man stories, where it seemed the entire universe was trying to destroy him. The goofy humor was wonderful. The ridiculous camera angles, the quick cartoon-like cuts... This movie was the closest we've gotten to a real Sam Raimi movie in years. |

| Movie was awesomely awesome. It was pure comic book movie. The entire thing felt like reading this big comic book arc, and that's not a bad thing at all. |

I loved it as well! Sure, as with any movie, there is going to be a question here and there, but all in all I believe it was a great movie! I want to comment about something that really has nothing to reveal about the plot, but some people don't like to know anything about a movie until they see it so...
**spoiler!**
I thought it was hilarious when Peter dyed his hair and combed it forward! A lot of people in the theater were screaming "Emo Spidey!" Haha. |

"Dark Peter" totally reminded me of evil Superman from Superman 3, which isn't a bad thing, since evil Supes was totally awesome.

| If you can believe the idea that a person can be comprised entirely of sand particles, and have complete sentient control over said particles, than you shouldn't have any problem swallowing the concept that a person with those abilities could manipulate his body in such a manner to travel on air currents. |

| Oh, I loved it! I saw it opening day and I was kind late so I had to sit in the third row, but nonetheless, it was AWESOME. I especially loved when he bought that nice black suit and he was all dancing around. XD |

I loved it, too bad there were several problems with the storyline and venom only appeared for a few minutes. They tried doing too much in too little time.
Best movie ive seen in a long long time. |

Hollywood's memory seems to be less than 10 years long. Didn't we all learn our lessons from Batman and Robin? Don't try to introduce too many characters in one movie. They introduced Gwen and Captain Stacy, Green Goblin II, Venom and Sandman. The opening fight between Harry and Peter was mind numbing. It went by so fast that I couldn't even tell what happened let alone feel like either character was in peril.
With all the negatives out of the way, there were some great performances. Thomas Hayden Church made Sandman an interesting and compelling character. Topher Grace was awesome as Eddie Brock and Venom. The new Green Goblin costume and gadgets were cool. They could have and should made this as two or three movies instead of just one without the uncomfortable and forced ending. |
