Of that, I'd choose Mark Buckingham/Steve Leioloha.

I'd like to see Frank Quitely or John Cassaday on the list though.

Another tough one. I really like the art on Ex Machina as well as Civil War. I have been a fan of SLG since Slacker Comics back in '94 and the Wonderland comic is a great example of the potential of independent comics when company give creative freedom on licensed properties. My vote goes to the Daredevil team, because I picked Daredevil (I hadnever been interested in the character) when Brubaker started writing. I find myself looking over each issue several times because of the art.

for me it has to be Niko Henrichon, his art is the number one reason i saw Pride of Baghdad sellout so many times.

If Michael Lark wins, I hope Photoshop's Posterize and Photocopy filters will accept on his behalf.

You're confusing Michael Lark with Alex Maleev. Lark actually releases his pencils weeks ahead of time on his MySpace page, and he draws all of it himself. Alex Maleev would draw the subject, and then photoshop a background in. That's all erroneous, though. Both men are supremely talented.

Alex Maleev is if Mike Lark knew anatomy. I swear, everyone that Lark draws has a double chin and a more than mild case of fat face.

I've been to Hell's kitchen, there's more pizza than crime, he draws them all with fat faces because everyone in the kitchen has a fat face
