I thought it was a fantastic issue. Of course, it will all likely be fixed with retcon in a few years or so. We'll see what happens from here.

man oh man is this huge and spoiled by the media. I mean I had so many people tell me that they shouldn't have opened the paper or turned on the news before they bought their books.

besides that I am sorry that Steve Rogers bought it but can his leagacy hold up is the real question.

I love Captain America, so it was a little upsetting to see him used like this. But Brubaker has been doing such an awesome job that I have no doubt that this will be a great story overall. I mean, the guy was able to bring back Bucky and make it not suck!

Corwin doesn't like signatures. But Corwin does love to dance.

I have a feeling thi will turn out like superman and they'll find a way to bring him back. Even if they have to do it five times! Stupid media had to go and spoil it tho! They did a good job....90% of the calls on wensday were random Capt. fanatics calling to complain or just the story line!

Brubaker said in the Atomic Interview that he had the next two years of Cap planned out. I can see him being dead for maybe five months to a year of that, but two years? Anyone else feel cheated by the death. Such a crap way for him to die. He saved that one guards life, and then got capped in the stomach by an ally. Pretty weak if you ask me.

I liked it, very Lee Harvey Oswald. Brubaker planned this event all along though, Civil War just gave him a different avenue to do it in. He's got the end figured out. I'm just excited to see Winter Soldier go back to....oops, I said too much.

I'm just glad he didn't get away with all that trouble he was starting in Civil War! Obey the laws of the People! For the People! Jesus hates hippies!

Agreed. I liked the part where Cap was like "Iron Man, you were right all along, I was just fighting for the mask and not for the American people!" and then Iron Man was like "Less of the yap-yap and more of the Gettin' Sniped, wimp! You should have listened to me before all this nonsense, because I was right all along!"

The only thing that could make it better was if Daredevil was the Sniper, and the TMNT ninja-kicked Captain America into his grave!

Nawgh! ummm? X-23 stories have always been told kind of here and there between continuity and such.

Cap may stil be lingering around in certian titles but as for main continuity he is as dead as a door nail lol!

Who left the sink running??

damnit!!!!

*Double post*

But on another note people always are to chime in with that same ol liberal crap "Well, Cap was just defending his civil liberties!"

Think about it. Like if this were to happen in a real world situation...

It is not by any means your "civil liberty" to start a underground resitance of highly skilled super powered masked men against the laws of the government.

Its called being a vigilanty. Its also known as terrorism. So just because you have special powers and/or ablities doesn't mean you get to make your own version of the law. While having a secret Idenity. You don't hide from evil. You put on your big boy pants and fight it!

May Iron man kill them all!

Actually, I think it's called being a vigilante.

It was upsetting because it waas the real Captain America, not some What if or mini series Cap, Not the M2 or Ultimate Cap, but the real Cap, it was a very sad issue, but Marvel (for once) has done something interesting, they've painted themselves into a corner & they'll have to write some great stories to get themselves out of it, maybe they could have Hulk in a loin cloth fight Ghostrider with a sword, that sounds cool right
