I read about this on another board. Very sad news for the comic book industry. Whenever I went to conventions, I would always see a long line (even at smaller conventions). Most of the time it was the line for Aspen and Michael Turner. He had a huge fan base. I only got to see him once in-person. I waited in line several hours to see him when he was at Samurai. He spent hours there making sure that everyone's comics got signed. He will be missed. Here the article I read:

| Yes, saw this today when I checked the newsarama site. Very sad loss for the industry. I always enjoyed his work. |
