Trinity started again this week.  Another 52 week series.  52 was self contained and filled in the gap post Infinite Crisis but pre One Year Later.  Countdown was heavily integrated into the events of most DC comics.  Trinity is supposed to go back to the self contained format, but outside of continuity.  Which did you prefer?  Did you pick up Trinity?  If not, why not?

Not quite on the subject, but was it ever explained what happened to Alan Scott's eye and why he wears an eye patch? He had the patch at the beginning of One Year Later and I must have missed the explaination as to why. Help on this anyone?

The zeta beam was mixed with too many people and he ended up with one of adam strange's eyes. I do not quite see how this could happen as last I checked Alan's body was simply a consruct as he was pure starheart energy.

Back on subject I liked the pacecar format for Countdown as it kept all the books in check but preferred the overall story of 52.

Beware your fears made into light
Let those who try to stop what's right,
Burn like his power... Sinestro's might!

I picked up Trinity for the obvious reasons.

1. Weekly comic. New chapter every Wednesday, whoo.
2. Batman. Superman, AND Wonder Woman BUT NOT A JUSTICE LEAGUE BOOK? Fascinating.
3. Kurt Busiek.
4. Mark Bagely doing DC art.
5. CYBER RIDDLER CYBER RIDDLER CYBER RIDDLER. (I am the only one that will get this joke but I'm making it anyway. And I know it has not been confirmed at all that Enigma is in fact Edward Nashton)
