Okay, I actually liked the Ang Lee movie. But, then again, I am a HUGE hulk fan.

Because I'm such a big fan, I am seriously worried about this one. If the up-coming "The Incredible Hulk" movie is another bomb at the box-office, there's no shot of there ever being another one. Anyone have a vibe? Hit or bomb? (Please say 'hit')

Thx

Judging from feedback I have heard........ maybe not a SMASH, but definitely not a bomb.
Welcome to the forum. I just started last week and really enjoy it.

I also really enjoyed the first movie. Started slow, but once the Hulk showed up, I thought it was GREAT!!

Ang Lee did the best he could with a horrible script and I like the cinematography at least. Eric Bana was really good too.

At least the new movie has no Atomic Poodles in it. I expect it to do well but not Iron Man or Dark Knight well. It'll be nice to see a Super Strong dude get to hit someone else as opposed to lifting crap and looking strong....I'm talking to you Brandon Routh.

I guess this question should have been in the movie section. Sorry about that. Hey, cut me some slack. I'm new!  It won't happen again.

Not a smash but not a bomb? Huh. I guess I'll have to settle for that. (Why wasn't I born a Spidey or Ironman fan?) Will be good enough for a sequel? (I read somewhere a sequel is possible, but only one sequal. There won't be a trilogy.)

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome!

Well first of all, Edward Norton is the Hulk. He is a great actor and I really believe he will pull it off well. He is one of those actors that really gets into his roles. He even rewrote sections of the script!

I think the battle that is set up between Hulk and Abomination looks epic. No doubt this movie will be good, but like previously stated above, I think Iron Man and The Dark Knight will be better. (however my opinion is possibly biased because I am a much bigger Joker fan than the Hulk) :D

Speaking of...I just saw a commercial that totally spoils what would have been an incredible cameo in this movie. I think Marvel is trying to use said cameo to boost their opening gross by implying that said cameo plays a bigger role in the film than they actually do.

I assume you are referring to the TS appearance. Is this still really a spoiler? Its been rumored for months.

For comic nerds? No. For the movie going public? This feels like a trick to get more people in the seats to me.

I kinda think Marvel is worried. They're 0 for 1 w/ Hulk films. They really want their #2 hero to do well. In order to draw in the people who saw Ironman (comic and non-comic fans alike) they are dangling that TS carrot out there. They are really playing every card.

Right. Every where you go you hear both sides. "I think the movie looks awesome" "I think the movie looks stupid" as apposed to Iron Man where almost everyone I talked to wanted to see it. The Hulk movie right now is about 50/50 i'd say. We'll just have to wait until it comes out. I think most people are waiting for word of mouth on whether it's good or not.
