No. Thanks. |

| Marvel. No question.
Justice League is boring. How the hell can you make the JLA boring? I don't know, but Meltzer has found a way to do it. I mean, the book should write itself. The best, baddest mothers in the DCU teaming up to fight huge threats... it's a no-brainer. But what do we get? 7 issues of Claremont-lite. UGH.
All-star Superman and Shazam: Monster Society of Evil are the only DC titles worth anybody's time or money, and both are finite.
52 blows. There, I said it. I don't care what the rest of my comrades think, I think it's mediocre on its best week.
You know what excites me? Hulk smashing things. New Avengers. Ed Brubaker writing anything. I can only find these things at Marvel. You know what else I love? Fun comics. ASS and S:MSoE are the only fun books DC is doing. Marvel's got Franklin Richards, Power Pack, and Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane.
But the deciding factor? MODOK. Dude, it's fucking MODOK. |

Wow.....no Dark Horse....no Image(which includes TopCow).....no IDW.....no Dynamite (GEM New Publisher of the Year Award Winner)...
All of these companies have a more diverse line than the Big Two and a few of them have better shipping schedules. |

Yeah, they also have bad 90's artists in perpetual rotation (e.g. Tyler "Flat-Face" Kirkham or Pat Lee at Top Cow).
...and nobody but Marvel has Daredevil. |

I like to pretend artists like Kirkham and Lee don't actually exist.

Marvel has enough respect for their fans to make controversial editorial decisions concerning their favorite characters to prevent them from atrophying by becoming shackled to Silver Age continuity.
DC seems content to allow Morrison to revamp every character to ever appear in an irrelevant Silver Age footnote book, but doesn't ever seem to ask themselves if anyone actually cares, or if they will actually shell out money for a comic about said character. And the shameless gimmicky nature of the 52 to Countdown transition doesn't communicate 'respect' to me. |

House of M to Decimation Civil War to Initiative Planet Hulk to World War Hulk Are none of these thing gimmicks? While both major publishers are looking to make money, as any major company should, Marvel seems to have lost sight of the fan appreciation, & story telling, it's all hulk smash, & further more DC acknowledging their history history does not mean they are shackled to it. |

With how DC has comics releaseing they have at least one good comic coming out each week, plus all my favorite heroes are DC. You cant beat Justice League i dont care what you say.
As for marvel they have Civil War going on and every single comic is focusing on that, except the rare few like spiderman who knows what. To tell the truth Civil is interesting but i dont want to have every comic talking about it. Its like having DC have every single one of there series talk about week 52, they did but not full time. |
