Well I grew up with the cartoon and I read a good portion of the civilwar epic. I've always loved spider man becuase he is a sarcastic B*. But I havent bought a spiderman comic in like 8 years so which series do you guys suggest. I would really like to see spiderman in the new iron suit but I hear they scraped it from the books which is sad becuase I'd love to see how the use it.

Anyway my favorite spidy is when he's in the black suit but I also like him in the orginal so which series would be the easiest to get into and which one has the better story.

The easiest Spidey to get into right now would be the current Amazing Spider-Man. Since Brand New Day started, Spidey has been getting a different writer every month, and since ASM now comes out three times a month, they pretty much finish a story arc every month, and then switch to the next writer/artist.

If you want to see Spidey in his Iron Spider costume, you can pick up the Amazing Spider-Man Civil War tie-in trade paperback. He wears that costume for a few issues in that series, and you get a great look at how he uses it.

And if you want to see Spidey in his black costume, Spider-Man Back in Black would be a great book to pick up. The setting is just after Civil War, so you would have a good idea of what's going on.

There you go. I hope this helps you out!

Thanks for the info on Spidey, I'll def pick up the ASM books. Tho it sounds like they are looking for the perfect writer for the books or somthing. Yea I hear people hated the new Iron suit and made the writers/artists turn it into scrap metal, which is sad becuase the suit just had so much potential, and thats why I hate most fans of comics if their is a change they hate it. That and the editors only get hate mail on things since if some one likes somthing they dont write them lol.

But yea thanks for the info it really helps :D

Yep yep I'll see if I can buy a new comic on monday since I'll be their for the club. But on the subject of writers I really wish they would change the writer for the Hulk series. The writing is just horrible but the art is great (in my book). All I can say for the hulk series is simple they need to give it some kind of story instead of a new person to beat up soon, or I'll have to scrap the book.
