As you may or may not know, Joe Q. has stated that after ASM's "One More Day" storyline finishes in the fall, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Sensational Spider-Man will be cancelled.  Amazing Spider-Man will then be published three times a month.  The creative teams haven't been revealed yet, but Joe said that "a year of stories" for ASM has already been plotted.

As a reader of the Sensational Spider-Man run, I'm not pleased with this news.   If I want to read about Spider-Man, I'd have to buy ASM three times a month as opposed to once a month if I wasn't already an ASM reader, which I'm not.  It's pretty unlikely that Marvel will lower the price of ASM to make it more budget friendly.  Plus, the artwork is pretty much guaranteed to be inconsistent even if the writer(s) keep up.

Thumbs down from me, Marvel.

At every 3 weeks it's still going to ship late.

Man I would laugh so hard if that happened. So. Hard.

And then I'd point.

You should point first.

Actually, by doing it backwards it throws off the person you're pointing at, and makes it more funny.

Is this the "I hate Marvel" string? Oh wait, they all seem to be that one. Good Lord I'm lost, is there no where a die hard Valiant fan can go these days to chat!?

I'm really curious about Valiant coming back. I'm not certain I'd buy anything if they did make a comeback, but I'm very curious.

Here's something we can all agree on: Marvel should ret-con out the "Peter Parker is Spider-man" bull-crap. Everyone knows that the real Spider-man was Abe Lincoln.

I don't hate Marvel at all.  I grew up mainly collecting Marvel.  Just not having fun with their new announcement with ASM.  In fact, I've decided to collect early issues of ASM rather than spend $12ish per month on new issues for one title under an iffy plan.

Doesn't Valiant have their own website?  You could check to see if they have a forum there.

I'll read it, but I'm going to miss Freindly Neighborhood, that's a nice plain Spider-man adventure book

I'm just waiting to see how One More Day affects all this. Spider-Man being three times a week is pointless when compared to the direction of the character and the quality of the stories.
