The new Hellboy movie looks pretty cool! I am always surprised by the previews. It looks very well done.

I'm the one that was talking about Hellboy, and then I take forever to write about it! I really loved the first film. I liked that crazy guy, I think his name was Kroenen (sorry if I spelled that wrong), minus the Nazi stuff of course. He had this heart that he had to wind up, and instead of blood, his veins flowed with dust. I liked his weapons too, but I can't remember what they're called? He had some awesome moves!Anyway, I liked the whole story, but I'm not sure how close the film was to the comics? I still haven't watched the trailer for the new movie yet, but when I do I'll totally post what I think!

I actually haven't seen the first Hellboy yet. I have been asking my friends if they have it so I can borrow it to watch because the second one looks so cool! I haven't read the comics either, but plan on buying the trades here pretty soon.
I still have to read my trades I have already purchased first. |

| I actually went out and bought it today and just got done watching it. It's really good! Hellboy is pretty funny! I love his sarcasm. That clockwork dude was pretty cool, but I thought some of his flash was a little unnecessary... especially when no one was even in the room! Haha. |

LOL, are you talking about when he's hanging out with himself, listening to music? I haven't watched Hellboy in awhile, I should probably do that before the new one comes out! I like Hellboy's character too, he's funny. I think he throws something at the guy Liz goes out with cuz he's totally jealous, right?
P.S. What you said on the FCBD thread is totally what I'm talking about. I'm getting really bored with the comics I read. It's like the same thing always happens. It's driving me crazy!

Yeah it looks amazing. There is a Hellboy comic about the Golden Army that explains the story of the Golden Army. Ask any Atomic Comics employee to help you find it.
It was given out on free comic book day, but maybe some stores still have a copy |

This movie looks so amazing. I finally saw the trailer for it. First of all, I like the LOTR-looking elf guy, he has some sweet moves. The creatures are enchanting, very Pan's Labyrinth. Guillermo del Toro consistently turns out beautiful films. I also liked Liz Sherman's updated hairstyle, it's really cute. I think this movie is gonna be awesome. I hope it's a good adaptation of the comic (which I still haven't gotten around to reading yet).

| I liked it. I want my own golden army. It was a little too formulaic though, kinda bummed it was so predictable. Visually absolutely gorgeous though. If anyone ever makes a movie out of my works, I want del Torro to direct. |
