| I am currently making a whole comic book series and wanting to take it with me to comic con but i was looking at books to help me in the process. I found two that im planning to pick up the "how to do comics the marvel way" and "dc guide to comic" (all 3) But are there any better ones that you guys like? |

| The DC guide to pencilling and the DC guide to writing are both fantastic. Everyone and I mean everyone who is even vaguely interested in drawing should have how to draw the Marvel WAy simply because its a great Primer on all the basics of art. The DC book on inking is pretty good but since I am a writer and not an inker I don't know too mcujh about it. Also check out the WIzard how to books because it's chock fulla the pros and the way they do stuff. |

Thanks guys, i saw that wizard one also but i wasnt sure about andn ow i know its a possibilty. I read reviews and most of them agree with what you said, that marvel way of comics is a really good book for getting going and the DC ones are more for those who already have stepped in the door, though its still good for learning. I think ill head over to atomic comics today or tomorrow and buy the marvel one. |

The DC ones and the MArvel ones were all on sale at comic con. Since i was working at the time i didnt buy them and i went back to get them and the stand was gone. Does Atomic Comics have them back in stock yet? I really want them....
