It depends on what you liked about the two. If you like Steve Niles writing, 30 days of Nights and a lot of his horror comics might be good. Personally, one of my favorite comics by Steve is Bad Planet. If you like how he plays in Gotham, Steve has written Gotham County Line (currently in Trade) and Gotham after Midnight (currently in comic book form).
As far something similar to House of Mystery, there is Fables written by the writer of House of Mystery. There is the Sandman or Hellblazer. If you like the character driven nature of the story, pick up anything Vertigo or do yourself and pick up one of the Vertigo samplers for $4.99 (First Cut has five or six different first issues of Vertigo titles). |
