Comic Books have improved the color, paper quality and compensation to creators over the past 30 years.  Compare it to paperback books that use similar paper stock and do not contend with color printing.  Has the price of comic books kept up with paperback books or are they a baragain in comparison?

it's a natural evolution of the product, one day comics will be space-age holograms that you'll drool over. It's in the stars kiddies, it's in the stars.

COmic prices don't bother the Doctor, though it does sometime seem they'll throw a 3.99 on a book for absolutley any reason, this issue has a dude wearing a hat, we better charge more!

I agree with the complete randomness of the 3.99 books. Cap 25 was 3.99. Should store owners speculate that any random 3.99 issue in the midst of an ongoing series will be a major revelation? This could lead to massive overbuying and assorted other problems. Set a singular price to all ongoing books at 2.99 and be done with it.

agreed all new comics should 2.99 until the time as stores see fit to back issue them
