Ok ..........here we go on the updates.........
starting on November 3 JDRF Walk for the Cure - Tempe Town Lake.........T.R.I.B.E. Studio Comics will be doing our part in helping AZCBA and SPAZ DOG COMICS in doing some free sketches for the public.so anyone in Az that can check us out feel free to stop by.
Also once I get all the papers from Blue line pro.......T.R.I.B.E. will be submitting some Sketch card art for there charity auction.........will keep all informed on when and how.........
Didnt know where else to post this ........just thought I'd let you guys know about it. |

I want to thank jojomonster and bub for coming out to the walk. Jojomonster got there before the walk started and had a line until about 9:30am. She drew these detailed carcacture headshots that used Prismcolor markers for shading. My daughter loves the one she did for her.
Bub showed up just in time for the post race rush. With Jojomonster focusing on headshots, it left Bub available to tackle all the superhero requests that he specializes in. How many places to see Iron Man, Venom and Spider-man all in the same panel? Those were the kind of requests that he was given.
We finally cut the line off at 11:30 so that we could make it out of there by 12 noon. I'm suprised that Jojomonster and Bub's arms hadn't fallen off by then. We gave out about 800 comics and between the two of them between 50 and 60 sketches.

I was drawing today for no reason really, was bored had a pencil and pen and i just drew a line. That line then made m draw another etc lol. Anyways i was drawing and was wondering how you guys sketch charecters so well yet so fast? Is it just a skill you get over time?
To me it takes anywhere from 15 minutes to a hour or more to draw a page of work or a charecter. Do you guys ignore certain things or something? |

New News from T.R.I.B.E. Studio Comics..........
Just in !!!!!!!
T.R.I.B.E. Studio Comics is invited by the AZCBA to this years Comic Con in Phoenix!!!
On Jan.25 at 11 A.M. Bub from T.R.I.B.E. Studio Comics will be at the AZCBA Table along side of Insomniax Comix,doing sketch drawings to support the association,and to show off samples of our titles.Small prints will be there to purchase or commissions will be offered for the public.T.R.I.B.E. is very happy to be asked to join in this yearly event that Mesa, Arizona that's been held every year since 2002.Will post pics and comments on event next post. |
