For some reason, Harkins is destroying the traditions of midnight showings. First at Pirates 3, they had 8, 9, 10, and 11 o'clock showings BEFORE the midnight showing! And they did the same thing last night for Transformers...

Anyway, Transformers was an awesome movie! I highly recommend it! It seemed a little long, but that's because it WAS a little long. I think it was about 2 hours and 19 minutes or so. Very funny, action packed, just an all around great movie!

GO SEE IT!!

I have decided that the only thing bad about it was the fact that cine capri has this obsession with its curatins. Back in the day when you had the curtains always closed the opening of said curatins heralded the beginning of the movie now they open and close them for no reason. sorry had to get that out. The movie itself was so awesome I had to see it twice and I am probably gonna see it again.

Parents are saying its a bad movie for their kids lol. I read one review where one parent said "I had to ask my kid if he was masturbating" and i couldnt help but laugh. They also had remarks like " It has too much action packed violence, alot of crude humor, and sexuel scenes" If you ask me that was more of a advertismenet than anything lol.

Yeah, it was a great movie and I didn't really think too much about the few scenes where they talked about masterbating and/or sex until I read you writing about them! Haha. So all they are doing is pointing out and highlighting the parts they supposedly don't want people to see...

funny how that works! :D

It's more of a situation. Nothing bad what-so-ever.

movie theaters are businesses. dying businesses at that.

they dont ruin the sanctity of the midnight without the studios telling them to do it.

we live in a new age...an age where i get to see the movie at 8 o'clock and not be dead for work the next morning!

A comment from a baby-boomer here. I was too old to appreciate Transformers when they first came out. Same thing with G. I. Joe. 18+ year olds didn't play with "dolls" or watch cartoons. Even people who read comics were frowned upon by their peers. I am not any kind of historian on this, but living through it does kind of give you hind sight. I think the popularity of Star Wars had a lot to do with it. Even Science Fiction movies and books was considered "geeky" before 1977. I bought the DVD for my grandson! I think I enjoyed it more than he did! I am judging that on the fact I have watched it quite a few more times then he has. lol :-)
