This was the movie that had a trailer right before transformers started but all we know is the release date and thats it. Cloverfield isnt even the offical title of the movie.

I was wondering is anyone here interested in the finding of this movie? Ive been with some friends online and we have tons of facts on the movie and are linking 1 and 1 together to find out stuff.

Ill post our findings if anyone else is trying to figure it out...

Im not trying to figure it out, but im pretty sure the writer wanted it to be an americanized Godzilla, not necessarily being a giant lizard but some kind of monster movie. I would love to hear some of your thoughts and ideas that you have on this movie.

Yea me and like 2 other guys have found out alot about the movie. We posted all our thought here
http://ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=82405&page=5

Everything from page 2 on is kinda usefull, its repetitive at times but you will get all the info. We found movie posters, clues within the trailer, and even a figure of the monster.

to sum some things up

-The monster is something never before done. Its a alien but the alien is already here on earth. The alien wroke up from beneath the surface of the earth and drove its way into the surface.

-The story is alot similar to a Midway game called "Rampage" where a drink kinda brings the monsters to life. Instead of the drnk creating monsters its actuelly atracting it, and its become so big that its very atractive. The drink is called slusho and their is a guy in the trailer wearing a slusho shirt and there is a website (slusho.jp) but its in english.

- Cloverfield and Monstrous are not the titles of the movie, he stated that at comic con.

-There is also a game coming out in November that is following a similar storyline, has the same charecter in it as well but the developers of both the movie and the video game insist they have nothing to do with each other. However each company took the same advertising rout by developing random sites that give off clues and they dont reveal which sites they are etc.... so people come across them and dont know which is which. So far Slusho.jp and 1-18-08.com are the only ones for the movie.
