Fishburne to Voice Surfer, not Galactus

 The reason rumors are called "rumors" and not "facts" is because they're not always true.
It appears Laurence Fishburne will be recording voice tracks for the upcoming Fantastic Four film in the week to come, but will not be the voice of the world-eating Galactus.
Instead, the former Cowboy Curtis will be the voice of Galactus's herald, the Silver Surfer.
The Surfer is being played by Doug Jones, who provided movement reference for the CGI-rendered character.
As for Galactus, rumors are circulating that the character will not appear in his traditional form--that of a giant humanoid in a purple and pink outfit--in the film, but rather as either a planetoid or a giant cloud. No voice has been connected to Galactus yet, but Gilbert Gottfried has to be available, right? |
