In this corner, Powers artist and writer of this week's Omega Filght, Michael Avon Oeming. And in this corner, Mini-Marvels artist and friend of Atomic, Chris Giarrusso!
At Emerald City Con, Oeming was helping raise money for the HERO Initiative by arm wrestling for original art. For a $10 donation, you could try to go over the top and win a page from Powers.
Like a machine, Oeming was destroying all comers and the line started to die down. The call went out to Giarrusso, who has arms roughly three times as large as you'd expect on a guy who draws comic book characters as little children. At first, Giarrusso declined as he would have to leave his booth unattended. When a fan offered to watch his booth, Giarrusso shook his head and lamented, "But then you won't get to see me kick his ass!"
