Depp, Banderas to Join Sin City 2 Cast

 While nothing is official yet, Robert Rodriguez says Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas will be joining the cast of Sin City 2. Depp wanted to be in the original as Jackie Boy, the role played by Benicio Del Toro, but was filming The Libertine at the time and couldn't take part. In the sequel, he'll play Wallace in the adaptaion of the Hell and Back miniseries.
As for Banderas, no role has been chosen yet, but the actor wants in badly enough that he's offered to take anything Rodriguez offers, telling the director, "I'll be the hunchback!" Producers are reviewing the cast of characters to find where Banderas will best fit. |
