 Every year, the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award recognizes "an individual retailer who has done an outstanding job of supporting the comics art medium both in the community and within the industry at large." Any one involved in comics--from Dan DiDio and Joe Quesada down to weekly readers or the guy who stumbled onto this site because we tricked Google by including "antonella barba nude" in the headers of all our pages--can nominate their favorite retailer.
So, what we're saying is Atomic Comics excels in all the criteria used by the Eisner judges. In fact, it's really kind of a crime that we haven't won the award already. You can do your part to combat this gross injustice by downloading a PDF version of the nomination ballot, filling it out (store addresses can be found on the Contact page or the Our Stores page above), and mailing it to Comic-Con International.
Winning this award would sure be a thrill and while I'm not making any promises, I sure wouldn't be surprised if we had Victory Sale for customers in the stores and on the web... |
