We made it about halfway through New Jersey before we called it a night. It was snowing and we were tired. We figured it would be safer to get some sleep and start in the morning. Julian turned on a little of the Moraga charm and got us the rooms at a hefty discount!
Bed was the best thing that has ever happened to us. We almost feel human again. Well, everybody but Daniel, who woke up with a fever. Despite that he was in high spirits. We all were since--in Arizona--we don’t get to see snow pretty much ever. So it was pretty fun to wake up to this:
 Snow also made this hot dog house look like some sort of sweet restaurant from the Swiss Alps. We hit the road around 10AM and didn't make it very far before the slow leak in one of the SUV's tires became a fast leak... and then became a flat. The camera was out of batteries at the time, but I did get a picture of the culprit later. 'at's the little bugger right there! I promise that's going to be a quick, inexpensive fix, Mike! Hate to be the bearer of bad news! Little bubble gum gonna fix that right quick!

Our next stop was Sheetz eatery. What an unfortunate name for someplace that sells food! "Sheetz! Dig in!" Sorry, mom, too crude? Couldn't be helped.
Outside, Lou jumped into the snow to make a snow angel and was immediately pelted with a snowball. I got it mid face-explosion.
 A large snowball fight ensued, but I think we all lost. Snow is cold.
We are now on to Pittsburgh where we are going to stop at Lou's brother and sister-in-law's place, her sister-in-law being Chuck Amok, former assistant manager at the Mesa store.
Talk to you guys tomorrow, and we can’t wait to see everybody back in the valley!
