Well, it’s Sunday, the last day of the con, the day that the Newsarama guys call "Zombie Day" because all the exhibitors and professionals are the walking dead. We are no exception. All of us are absolutely exhausted and there is a storm coming in tonight, which means we are going to leave right after the show in an attempt to miss the brunt of it.

Although we are all tired, we had a good day. The crowd thinned out a bit so it wasn’t as frantic. Adam Tracey of Toyfare dropped us off some Twisted Toyfare for our downtime.

A good friend of mine that I hadn’t seen for years dropped by and bought me the entire first print run of Watchmen which is one of my favorite series of all time. I know that’s a bit cliché to say, but it’s that good people! If you haven’t read it, where have you been?

Mike Norton of Gravity and Atom fame was kind enough to do me a sketch of the Blue Beatle which rocks my socks off, and since Chris Genung introduced me to him I got the sketch for free. Free, of course, being my favorite number! Thanks Mike and Chris! I’m trying to get sketches of the entire Giffen, DeMateis JLA team. I’ll keep you posted.
Julian was excited since the con, unlike most others, was still pretty busy on Sunday. We entertained shoppers with another signing from C.B. and our crazy, sleep deprived antics, and they entertained us with more great costumes!
Captain America: I cry like Superman! Iron Man: Too drunk to ‘member *hic* a scarf. *hic* Now my neck is cold. Welp! Time fer a beer blanket! See ya later!
Thor: Hercules knock ow my two fwont teef. (Only funny if you read Civil War #7 you slackers. Okay, maybe not funny even then.)
Heels on a superhero costume; sassy AND impractical!
We can fix our own leaky faucets thank you very much! And the princess can save herself as far as we’re concerned!

We had a bunch of really cool kids swing by the booth today in costume. Rad costumes guys!

Five o’clock finally rolled around and it was time for breakdown. Breakdown goes a lot faster than setup, but feels like it takes five eternities. This feeling is amplified by the fact that we have one of the most elaborate setups at the con. Whereas everyone else can pack up within an hour, it takes us several, and we are often the last ones out of there. Here’s the booth in various states of disassemble.

Alright, it’s around 10 o’clock and we are hitting the road and trying to beat this storm. Wish us luck!

- Preposterously yours,
Patty O’Houlihan
