Cartoon Network will help viewers fight anemia with two large doses of Iron this March. The channel will show The Invincible Iron Man and Hellboy Animated: Blood & Iron on back-to-back Saturdays as part of its Toonami tenth anniversary.
In The Invincible Iron Man, a direct to DVD movie released last month, Tony Stark unearths an ancient city and, in turn, awakens the Mandarin. It airs on March 3rd.
Hellboy: Blood & Iron, which premieres a week later on March 10th, pits the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense regulars against a female vampire who bathes in the blood of innocents to stay young, a horde of ghosts, a phantom wolf pack, witches, harpies, and a giant werewolf. Hellboy also faces off with the goddess Hecate, who wants him to embrace his true destiny and help destroy mankind. |
