  DEVIL'S DUE AND TRIGGERSTREET PARTNER TO FIND NEW COMICS ONLINE

Chicago, IL. (June 24, 2008) – Devil's Due Publishing and TriggerStreet.com proudly announce a new partnership that will extend the popular film site's scope to include comics and bring DDP's search for breaking talent into the online space. The new section, announced at this week's San Diego Comic-Con, will open its submission process to participants on TriggerStreet.com and invite creators and critics to collaborate, eventually bringing the top submissions before a panel of industry judges.


The top ten comics rated by the community will go before a panel of industry judges from both the comic book and entertainment worlds for the chance to win the TriggerStreet.com / DDP Comic Book Discovery Award. The partnership will allow unknown comic book artists and writers the opportunity to be discovered, while receiving feedback and constructive criticism to help them improve upon their talent and gain exposure.


"We're incredibly excited to be able to partner with Dana, Kevin, and Triggerstreet.com for the launch of the comic book portion of their website," stated Stephen Christy, Manager of IP Development for DDP.


Launched in 2002 by Oscar Winning actor Kevin Spacey and Producer Dana Brunetti, TriggerStreet.com already provides a platform for feedback and exposure by providing for peer-to-peer review and critique of submitted material.


"A person who lives on a farm in Ohio and doesn't know a soul in Hollywood can use TriggerStreet.com as a way to get their work out there to be seen and maybe even discovered. All they need is a computer, a decent internet connection, and of course, a bit of talent," said Spacey.


"This partnership is the logical next step for TriggerStreet.com", said Producer and TriggerStreet.com Co-Founder Dana Brunetti. "Our site covers pretty much every medium that can be translated into a feature film; short films, screenplays, books, short stories, and plays. It makes perfect sense to now look towards the comic book community given the popularity and immeasurable quality of comic books today."


The announcement made at San Diego Comic-Con brings both TriggerStreet.com and DDP together to team their companies strengths online and in the comics world establish a new venue for creators to get their work exposed.


"As we continue to grow our 'Created by' IP titles, this will give DDP a chance to find the next Mark Powers' Drafted or Tim Seeley's Hack/Slash before the rest of the world," said Devil's Due CEO P.J. Bickett. "Additionally, DDP continues to provide up-and-coming artists an opportunity to break in the industry through one of our many original or licensed titles."


TriggerStreet.com will begin accepting comic book submissions on July 24th with no submission deadline as it is an ongoing process open to all submissions that reside on the site. Before a member can upload their submission, they must first complete four assignment reviews of other comics already on the site.


The deal was brokered by the William Morris Agency (WMA) on behalf of TriggerStreet and Devil's Due Publishing.
