 Entertainment Weekly has the first glimpse of Christian Bale's batsuit from The Dark Knight. Among the highlights is a new cowl which promises this movie will be the first in which Batman is able to turn his head. Previous headpieces have all been anchored to the suit in such a way as to prevent actors from swiveling their necks.
The suit is made up of more than 200 individual pieces, giving the costime a more high-tech armored look and sparking criticism that the outfit makes the Caped Crusader look like he belongs in a game of Halo rather than fighting crime in Gotham's darkened alleys. The multiple pieces also make the bat-symbol even less prominent than in Batman Begins. |

The Batman suit rocks. Bale is ready for battle. Against the crazy/psyco clown, he'll need everything he can get his hands on to survive the Joker's madness. :))
