Iron Man executive producer and Marvel Studios high-mucky-muck Kevin Feige announced that the next two Marvel characters slated to make big screen appearances will be Captain America and Thor. David Self is penning a script for Cap that will examine his role as a propaganda machine while still focusing on Steve Rogers the person and will be set both during World War II and in the present day.
Thor, who hasn't been seen in a major motion picture since 1987's Adventures in Babysitting (pictured to the right), has a completed script by Mark Protosevich, writer of Poseidon and I Am Legend. Feige is looking for directors for both projects to get them "into the pipeline."
Wolverine is also still lacking a director, though Feige predicts it will be released before the David Goyer-helmed Magneto. |
