Anthony Michael Hall has joined next summer's The Dark Knight, but he's not revealing what role he'll be playing yet.

The "Dead Zone" star told the LA Daily News was in London for the opening of production two weeks ago. He won't be back on set until August, after he wraps shooting on the USA Network series.

"I signed a confidentiality agreement, and I can't say which part I'm playing because it affects the story," said Hall. He did, however, let slip that his August scenes are in Chicago with Morgan Freeman, implying his role will have more to do with the business side of Bruce Wayne's life than the jumping-around-dark-alleys part.

There is no foundation for this guess and the odds are a million-to-one against it, but if it happens, we'll look like geniuses, so we're predicting Hall will play Ted "Blue Beetle" Kord, who will attempt a merger with Wayne Enterprises.

What? It could happen.

The Dark Knight is scheduled to hit theaters July 18, 2008.
