Robert Downey Jr.'s Been Working Out |

 The images from the set of director Jon Favreau's Iron Man film continue to look good. The old tin can armor left fanboys drooling on their keyboards and now it appears Robert Downey Jr. can cut a convincing Tony Stark.
In a still where Tony builds the Iron Man armor with a glowing module in his chest, two things become immediately apparent:
1. Favreau opted not to go with the Freddie Mercury look for Tony.
2. Downey has been working out.

Fishburne to Voice Surfer, not Galactus |

 The reason rumors are called "rumors" and not "facts" is because they're not always true.
It appears Laurence Fishburne will be recording voice tracks for the upcoming Fantastic Four film in the week to come, but will not be the voice of the world-eating Galactus.
Instead, the former Cowboy Curtis will be the voice of Galactus's herald, the Silver Surfer.

Ricci Joins Speed Racer Cast |

 The cast for the Wachowski Brothers' Speed Racer film has added another big name to its supporting ranks. Christina Ricci will play Trixie, Speed's helicopter-flying ladyfriend.
Emile Hirsch, John Goodman, and Susan Sarandon have already been cast as Speed and Speed's parents.
The Wachowskis plan to shoot the film this summer in Berlin.

Edward Norton Smash! |

 Rumors surfaced this weekend and appear to have been confirmed that Edward Norton is the choice to play Bruce Banner in the upcoming Ang-Lee-less Incredible Hulk film.
Norton beat out Academy Award winner Adrien Brody (The Piano), who'd reportedly been the front runner for the role.
The Incredible Hulk films this summer in Toronto and will hit theaters next summer.

Fishburne the Voice of Galactus |

 Galactus is a big, big man with a big, big appetite--you kind of have to be if you're setting out to devour worlds--and he needs a big, big voice. Rumor has it that big voice will come from the mouth of Laurence Fishburne.
Fishburne already has a few comic book films under his belt starring as Morpheus in the Matrix Trilogy and narrating the recent TMNT.
Fantastic Four 2: The Rise of the Silver Surfer opens June 15th.

 Another production photo from the Iron Man movie has surfaced, assuring most fans that Jon Favreau is getting it right. The photo depicts the old school "water boiler" armor--or, if you prefer, "refrigerator Iron Man" or "old tin can." The suit appears to have been built from spare parts with a flame thrower on the arm.

 After six years of work, Travis Charest has been dropped from Alejandro Jodorowski's long-awaited Dreamshifters graphic novel. Zoran Janjetov will be taking over the art chore with an eye toward publishing it later this year.

 Having conquered the box office, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are bringing in big money on other fronts as well. Co-creator Kevin Eastman sold the original art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 on eBay for just over a quarter million dollars.
