Reports that Keanu Reeves would be starring in Zack Snyder's adaptation of Watchmen were a bit premature. The Johnny Mnemonic star says he was offered the role of Dr. Manhattan, but turned it down. Reeves's next film is titled Night Watch, which is close enough to Watchmen to cause confusion on the intrawebs. Another popular actor is lobbying for a role in the film, but which one?

Shooting on Speed Racer, starring Hirsch as Speed, begins next week in Germany, and producers have revealed the look of Speed's car, the Mach 5.

Studios often promise their sequels will be bigger than the originals, but in the case of The Dark Knight, Warner Bros. isn't kidding. Four scenes from the Batman Begins follow-up will be shot in IMAX format, including the scene that introduces the Joker.
