Revolving Atomic Comics Job Opening – Full/Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Staff
We have revolving openings for full/part-time customer service/sales staff. As the main connection to our customers, you will have the responsibility of acting as a representative of Atomic Comics, the most innovative comic book store in America. This includes our commitment to the highest standards of serving our customers in a friendly, informative and responsive manner. We are seeking outgoing, personable and hard working salespersons who foremost, seek to expand their knowledge and understanding of this growing industry.
Duties:
- Comic/related product sales
- Greeting customers
- Answering questions
- Operating cash register
- Receiving/restocking product
- Organizing/maintaining store/product appearance
- Maintaining working knowledge of store product
- Nightly cleaning
- Answering phone
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Understanding of numerical/alphabetical filing
- Basic knowledge of 2 or more of the following:
- Marvel/DC Comics
- Independent Press Comics
- Manga/Anime/Japanese popular culture
- Role-Playing Games/Collectible Card Games
- Willingness to expand knowledge
- Outgoing, friendly disposition
- Reliable transportation
- Cash handling/register experience
- Must work well on a team
- Retail experience preferred
