Atomic Comics - Unlike some of the Marvel titles that have a ton of build up and lots of press leading into the first issue, Ultimate X has really been shrouded in secrecy. Not a whole lot has been leaked or spoken about other than one teaser image. Why so low key on this one? Jeph Loeb - We liked the idea of expect the unexpected. The teaser campaign was super effective and people are talking about the book without having seen very much of it. Once it hits though we’re hopeful they will be as excited as we are.

Atomic Comics - So working on Buffy Season 8 is a pretty cool gig. Did you get much input from the Whedon camp, or were you given free reign to play with the characters the way you wanted to?
Brad Meltzer - Joss is fully hands on this book -- and to be honest, that's the only reason I did it. There's nothing like working with creators you admire. And he's certainly one of mine.

Atomic Comics - Robocop is no doubt one of the best Sci-Fi movies to come out of the 80’s. Your new book is a direct sequel to that first movie. What can you tell us about it? Rob Williams - Dynamite’s new Robocop is, hopefully, the book that fans of the original Verhoeven movie will love. We ignored the sequels and the TV show and just went back to the source to find the tone. And that tone is pretty satirical and irreverent, as well as being action packed and violence-heavy. Then, once we set the scene with OCP and Old Detroit, we’ll be moving the narrative in new, different directions. I think, by issue five, people are going to know that this isn’t a Robocop you’ve seen before.
